Amateur Telescope Making

It is amazing to experience how top quality optics can be made by simple hand work and basic measuring tools. By paying sufficient interest and perseverence, a well performing home made telescope is achievable for everybody.

This website is a collection of things I do and have done in the area of amateur astronomy, since I started in 1999. The menu bar links to construction logs of the telescopes I made, the mirrors I ground, some of my measuring tools, motion control for mountings and also some photos I made.
There are also some articles that summarize some of the investigations I have done on several topics.
